Catch

Passionate as we are about the sea, we do all that we can to ensure that future generations will also be able to enjoy all of the benefits that Scottish waters provide us today. That’s why sustainability is at the heart of our methods when we catch our produce. 

Either using the family boat based in Mallaig or else sourced from other responsible local businesses, absolutely all of our produce is sustainably fished within Scottish waters.

Transport

Once back on land, the seafood is quality controlled to maintain the high standards that we set for our seafood. After that, the premium produce is whisked back to the shop in purpose built transport that has been designed to keep the food fresh. 

Throughout its journey, the food will be continuously monitored to ensure that it meets all quality and hygiene regulations.

Eat

Upon arrival, the produce is stored in the optimal conditions without the use of unnecessary preservatives in order to keep everything fresh and maintain flavour. Plus, we only sell produce that has arrived at the shop that day, meaning that it’s just as fresh as it would be if you had fished it out of the sea yourself.
